Picturing The Blow Back

With the red party disemboweling itself over Iraq, this weekend’s newswire seemed to mirror the blow back ignited by GOP hawks in reaction to the Iraq Study Group report. 

Perhaps part-way influenced by last Thursday’s vindictive New York Post “Surrender Monkeys” cover (which The Post, itself, reported was the talk of Washington), prominent among the latest pictorial offerings is a shot of Baker and Hamilton looking like disabused evangelical wannabes, and a frame of Baker seemingly in the midst of a 60’s hallucination.
