On And Off The Grid

You remember the NorCal calamity two years ago when I was trying to boost the signal from the fire station?  The good news is, I now have a sure fire hotspot in Watsonville.  The bad news is, it’s a bit of a trek from where I’ll be parked the next few days.  So bottom line, we’ll see how much I get down out of the hills.  (One incentive is that I’m sure you’re dying to deconstruct old Rush’s cigar – pic/verbiage.)

  …And while I’m rambling, I’m sure you’ve noticed that the pics have gotten decidedly LARGER here this past week.  That’s due to the shift to a two-column format.  (And not just because I’m having Big Picture envy.)  Besides being a progressive blog and a media blog, BNN is, after all, also a photo blog.  I should add that I’m nearing the end of the road in terms of playing blog designer and (among a handful of plans in the works) I’m looking for an outfit to give The BAG the platform it deserves.  (If you have recommendations, by the way, please pass ’em along.)
