Turning Tide #2: "C’mon, Look Happy"

With the Iranian government reasserting control, several images circulated yesterday of Ahmadinejad looking presidential — or, as in the case above, at least ridiculously carefree.

What the photo — released by the Iranian Students News Agency — really conveys, however, is how much MA and the hardliners are mindful of the fact (notice guy left staring at the camera) they are bringing up the rear in a full-scale PR war.
