Between the photo contests, the campaign and the politically-charged Academy Awards, there has almost been too much imagery to process. Here is a cross-section of pictures we’ve read on various platforms over the past week or so. (That includes Instagram where we launched this week and are trying things out now.)
With our campaign salon coming up on the 20th (and the contest growing stranger by the day), we’ll be posting a lot more political imagery. Part of that will be “field testing,” looking for the nine best photos for our esteemed panel to read. Over the coming week, we hope to also circle back and look at more of the winning imagery from the World Press Photo contest (notice all the #WPPh16 below) and Picture of the Year. Also, we’re about to launch a new Originals series that we’re really excited about, so stay tuned.
