Sandy Hook Ongoing: Kids in a Blanket

If you’ve been following The Bag, you know we’ve published several images since Sandy Hook (such as this one) involving children and outlandish strategies for gun violence prevention.

As legislation dealing with the assault weapon ban and high capacity magazine restrictions appear to be failing in Congress, what an opportunity for American entrepreneurship. I mean, why didn’t I think of becoming the distributor for Colombian-made bullet proof blankets?

Honestly, I hardly know where to begin talking about this photo. Blanket of denial? Does it seem like the kids are actually packed in a rifle holder? Is there something funereal about this? I love that term, by the way: “personal ballistic protection products.”
