Trayvon Martin and the Million Hoodie March: Seizing a Symbol

The reason I like this photo is that it does EXACTLY what it is supposed to do: capture the white fear of the hooded black male.

I compare it to the iconic 1968 Olympics photo of John Carlos and Tommy Smith because it also captured white angst and put it on the world stage for examination.
