Let’s not finesse this or sugarcoat it, as these photos and gestures document it. Governors Perry and Brownback have crossed the line in evoking Jesus Christ and Christian prayer at a Texas stadium “Christian prayer rally” as a vehicle for “healing” unemployment, the deadlock in Congress and other social ills of the United State. (Bachmann has similarly jumped the line as you’ll seen in our next BagOriginals “Update from Iowa” on Monday.)
Funny, by the way, how 3-D Perry and projected Perry create the impression of the Governor, himself, as the higher power.
