If the candidate had shown even half as much feeling and sense of self to the American people as Hondros managed to surface in one private moment in flight in 2004, we could have had a much shorter, less incoherant Iraq war, and maybe bypassed the financial meltdown, too. If Hondros had a way of relating to people that was rare for a photojournalist, perhaps it was rare for Kerry, too.
