Fukushima Dai-ichi: They Broke the Sky

Only now have we focused on the pattern on the side of the crippled structures that housed the Fukushima Dai-ichi reactors.

Whether they were painted powder blue and were just showing wear, or there was real art there (those white elements meant to be clouds), the monumental damage and threat to all human life made us look at that skin of the crippled reactor #4 and think: “they broke the sky.”
