Hapi To Have That Over With

Either Team Schwarzenegger is extremely good at managing the p.r., the press is not interested in getting after Arnold right now, or it’s some combination of both.

Maybe someone can help me, but try as I might, I could not find one movie still of Arnold in the role of Prince Hapi from the just-released “Around the World in 80 Days.” In fact, I could barely find any press coverage at all.

I haven’t seen the movie, but apparently Arnold plays a Prince who can barely keep it in his pants. Having done the role prior to running for Governor, I’m sure Arnold was concerned about how the cameo would play after ducking the sexual harassment issue during the recall. Besides the nature of the character, the press I did find on it explained that Arnold took so naturally to the Prince, he personally oversaw the character’s dialogue and appearance, as well as the direction of his scenes.

You can just imagine the sigh of relief that went through the Gov’s mansion earlier this week when it became clear the movie was going to tank.
