Tarmac Tales: Me and My Shadow

Obviously, Dubya’s (maybe not-so-) excellent adventure with Tom DeLay drew plenty of photographic attention the other day. 

After holding hands with Prince Abdullah of Saudi Arabia on Monday, Bush came back on Tuesday effectively exercising the same gesture with the hemorrhaging House leader.  This tarmac shot was the most interesting out of the bunch.

One would assume that DeLay could not look worse these days.  However, the press seemed to throw him a small bone here.  Visually, what better way to make the argument that the long shadows surrounding Mr. DeLay are a creation of the media.  (It also plays to the theme that the poor man is somehow a victim of entrapment.)
