In our social media round up this week, our eyes were mostly on the presidential race. Throughout the campaign, AP photographer Evan Vucci has been keen and fearless in his Trump coverage on Instagram. If this girl has no clue about Trump’s eternal profit motive, Vucci sure does. And the purple hat is fantastic. If there is nothing purple (read: bipartisan) about this dreadful exercise, might the phrase “all hat” apply? We also found several heartfelt images this week, including the picture of the Pope in quake-torn Amatrice and John Moore’s image of the human cost of our broken immigration system. With all the animosity in the world right now, we also fell for Todd Heisler’s pigeons.
Insightful photo by @evanvucci. Seems this kid really gets it. She’s reading Trump’s “How to Get Rich.” #brandbuilding #Roanoke pic.twitter.com/ccbnrBogIt
