Weiner: "I’m More Vulnerable in Kind of this Weird Way"

So says Anthony Weiner.

This image by photographer Todd Heisler illustrating this NYT story is both wonderful and a gift to the city’s most ambitious penitent. As much as he can be seen to be humbling himself before the city’s women between now and the mayoral primary, the better (even if the tension in his neck and cheek shows so much tension, he seems about to spasm).

As for Heisler’s creativity, the 2 GUNS poster and the pointed finger accentuate the sexual tension that remains in the air from the Congressman’s online acting out. I do like the tie, so long that it hangs down to his namesake, but what is more suggestive of Weiner’s release of anxiety by way of the social networks  is the way he continues to finger his phone.
