I saw this yesterday in Yahoo’s “pics of the day” thread and thought it was wonderful. It’s part of a show of men’s collections leading up to Fashion Week in London. Given the texture and color of the wood, it has a distinct post-Sandy feel to me. But then, with the “terror decade” morphing into a period of climate and infrastructure crisis, perhaps, when isn’t splintering and destruction and facelessness in fashion? I was also wondering what you made of the garments themselves. Is there something a little Asia peaking meets fire retardant meets endless secret rendition going on?
