Romney: My God, You're Just Human Beings?

Sure, it was stunning when Romney said corporations are people.

Perhaps even more telling, however, was his sudden, shocked reaction (the practiced unflappability gone in a millisecond) when people started laughing out loud. Like a tense throwback to the “George Bush Sr. supermarket scanner incident,” this corporate barker demonstrated not-an-ounce of sensitivity to the fact there are two Americas, as he stands there defying the reality of the other one. Guess you paid for the flag, too?

In a funny visual quirk, it looks like Romney is juggling the balls from a street lamp in his hand. They could as well have been silver spoons.
