The "Devil": Norway Killer Breivik Faces Court, Tabloids

First, it’s not evil we’re dealing with here, it’s hate. To the extent that figures like Breivik are demonized, especially using religious allegories (like: the Devil), it moves us away from a more practical understanding of what he did.

Second (and a hat tip to photographer David Brabyn on this), although it’s obvious why, he notes how unusual it is that a photo wouldn’t be retouched to eliminate the red-eye.
