Barbour? Racist? You mean, the same guy who bonded with Obama over snowballs? Who would have known. I mean, he himself went to hear King speak in ’62.
Here, by the way, is the 2003 photo of Barbour with members of the Council of Conservative Citizens. Although civil rights organizations urged him to have it removed after it appeared above blatantly racist content on the organization’s website, the then-Mississippi gubernatorial candidate refused.
