Obviously a humongous ribbon draped on the White House on World AIDS Day just isn’t good enough for some people!
If, as all those Ivy League health scholars/presidential hecklers say, Bush was more committed to the issue more than Obama is, it’s all the more reason why the big bow reads like a reflex action on the part of the Administration, not to mention another gestural example of “what Dubya did.” (Fair or not, this photo circulating today also has a bit of an “ouch” to it inside the building.)
