1. Why does the media make such a big event out of the showing of emotion?
1. Obama’s tears seem pretty natural to the man, and the moment. If Bush cried too, it was in spite of the chip on his shoulder.
2. Even if he doesn’t speak out on race unless responding to a problem (like Wright or Gates), Obama — through deeds, ceremony and key meetings and events — lives his ties to black history and the black community.
3. Michelle, well in sync with her man, is still his rock.
