Bow This!

This cartoon by Barry Blitt — marking his triumphant return to the Oval Office — is more than just funny. It’s also a statement that this “liberal media” that Palin and the wingnuts are constantly referring to is about as real as Santa Claus.

So, after another long year of conservatives clogging up the media sphere — like Sarah, Dick, Glen, Tom, Pistol Guy, Screaming Guy, Friend of Grandma, Michael, Michelle, Mark, and The More Notorious Dick — this rare and unapologetically progressive cover says to all those entitled, media-stoking, bow-pouting, brick-tossers from across the divide: “Here’s at least one lump o’ coal.”
