Colorado Congressman Ed Perlmutter has been doing one-on-one meetings with constituents at this grocery store for years.

This time, however, with so many agitators and agitated citizens in the mix, the grocery store insisted the meetings take place outside. Given the considerable crowd that showed up, Perlmutter raised the discussion ratio to 5-to-1. Echoing these photos, the video from the local news relates how tense the scene was with Perlmutter, at one point, having to cajole the mob elements via megaphone.

With hostility all around, you can how see how much Perlmutter — meeting people on an open and level field — finds himself surrounded.
