Of course, some gaffes are coming, and he’s going to be long-winded at times.  Beyond the  experience and intelligence, however, Biden brings a lot of feeling to an otherwise machine-drilled ticket.  This shot was taken last year in Des Moines while Biden’s sister was relating to an audience how he dealt with the death of his first wife and daughter.
