An Almost Religious Love Of Political Sport

Maybe it has something to do with all the recent talk of cartoons.  It could also stem from a desire to shift gears a bit after posting more provocative imagery.  Or, it could just be the fact the Winter Olympics opened last night and I noticed Laura Bush in attendance.  In any case, I started thinking that this site has gotten very serious lately; many of you have probably never seen “the real BAG”; and I fondly recall making light of BushCo in my illustrated way during the Summer Games two years ago (example 1, 2, 3).

So, I’m just giving you a heads up that I’m “unfolding” BAGnews this week in honor of the Winter Games.  Before doing so, however, it seemed appropriate to “brand” the occasion first.  (I mean, that’s how Rove does it, right?)
